The Therapoetics of Art-Making and Engagement explores the transformative power of words, stories, and artistic expression in fostering healing, emotional well-being, personal growth, and social change. The theme recognizes the capacity of literary and creative practices to address personal and collective experiences of trauma, resilience, recovery, and hope.

Accordingly, this conference invites seasoned scholars, researchers, creative writers, and practitioners to submit well-conceived and rigorously articulated papers that engage with the multifaceted dimensions of healing narratives and their role in contemporary society. Selected papers will contribute to stimulating discussions and scholarly exchange during the conference scheduled to hold from August 19–22, 2026.
